The Happy Ending.
Gilles Peterson – legendary producer, DJ and record label owner – is renowned for pushing musical boundaries. Our friends at Audemars wanted the film to feature a ‘master / apprentice’ dynamic, so we came up with the idea of featuring Gilles in conversation with Skinny Pelembe – a hot young artist recently signed to Gilles’ Brownswood record label – the two of them talking about the nature of creativity.
We turned the whole thing round in just four weeks – from concept to delivery – including sourcing and negotiating talent.
