STORY SO FAR.

We’ve worked as an extension to John Lewis’ in-house teams for circa 18 months– creating content and  supporting with post production across socials and ATL formats, from Instagram video to OOH and display ads. This includes post-production, animation, reversioning, design and delivery, supporting marketing departments directly with full content campaigns across multiple key dates through the year.

 

 

 

ONE (FLEXIBLE) TEAM

Our bespoke team understands the nature of retail, and that the number and variation of assets needed will often be in flux until the 11th hour. Our team of motion designers, editors, copywriters, creatives and producers is built with flexibility and responsiveness in mind for retail clients, so that we’re always able to support the wider John Lewis team, scaling up when required and scaling right back when not needed.

Via one point of contact, JLP have access to both an internal account team and a hand picked pool of global freelancers, all onboarded into the JLP ways of working and to brand guidelines to ensure speedy delivery of on-brand assets every time, without the costs associated with a retained or in-house team.

EVERY TOUCHPOINT

The need to be present across different types of media and at different touchpoints is more distinct now than ever before, and different media and platforms often require unique approaches to production & bespoke editing of video and statics to have the maximum impact – and that’s all before you consider the different safe zones and best practices across every different social platform.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve worked with the team at John Lewis & partners to become integrated into their brand guidelines and ways of working, allowing us to support with quick versioning of all assets. With a codified process, we’re able to ensure every asset they produce and use is optimised for their media and channels – regularly turning one master video into a full media campaign with a suite of ready-to-use assets in all aspect ratios and to all platform best practices.

AT EVERY KEY MOMENT

Our team have also been on hand throughout the year to create and flex assets to respond to key calendar dates, helping the JLP team to be responsive to events and trends. From the launch of the Spring / Summer & Autumn / Winter collections through to mass market events like Black Friday, Christmas & Winter Sales, we’ve been on hand to keep John Lewis’ channels ‘Always on’. 

At Christmas for example, we were working behind the scenes to bring John Lewis’ ‘Snapper’ Xmas campaign into the world of retail marketing, taking the plant motif from the widely seen Ad and integrating it into short digital assets to promote specific product and promotions
